Combine Multiple Properties in Google Search Console

Tracking multiple properties in Google Search Console used to be cumbersome and tedious to set up. If you had a desktop site, a mobile site, and a mobile app, you would have to track each one of those individually in its own Search Console property. Now, with the introduction of property sets, you can group multiple properties together to monitor the collective clicks and impressions in Search Console.

It’s a simple 4 step process to set up, Google explains:

Create a property set
Add the properties you’re interested in
The data will start being collected within a few days
Reap the benefits of the new insights in Search Analytics
URLs from each property will be treated as a singe entity in the Search Analytics report:

“This means that Search Analytics metrics aggregated by host will be aggregated across all properties included in the set. For example, at a glance you’ll get the clicks and impressions of any of the sites in the set for all queries.”

Property sets will work for any kind of property that can be added to Search Console. Google explains some of the best use cases are to use property sets for an overview of all your international websites, or using it to combine data from both HTTP and HTTPS sites. The update to Search Console will go live in the next couple of days.
