The Role:

As a Project and Bid Coordinator you will support a variety of quantitative and qualitative research projects during the bidding/quoting and the project management stages. You will be responsible for coordinating the quoting/bidding process, taking a brief and liaising with suppliers on costs, and for assisting with data collection and project management at the fielding stage. As part of this role, you will be expected to build and maintain effective relationships with external suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and send requests for quotes (RFQ) to suppliers (e.g. panel providers, recruiters, etc.)
  • Liaise with and manage suppliers during the quoting/bidding process
  • Review and compare quotes to ensure compliance with the project specification and other requirements
  • Assist project managers in the preparation of costings and proposals
  • Oversee and coordinate suppliers for the successful implementation of projects
  • Test online surveys and launch projects
  • Monitor projects while in field, and bring on new suppliers (where needed)
  • Coordinate project logistics (e.g., gather costs for proposals, coordinate facility interactions, etc.)
  • Offer support for off-site studies (e.g. focus groups)
  • Proofread proposals, reports and presentations
  • Support data analysis and reporting

Qualifications

We are looking for a confident candidate with excellent communication skills and previous research experience of 2 to 4 years. Having a high level of organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and respond to requests, is critical for this role

  • An outgoing and ‘can do’ attitude
  • A proactive and responsible approach to work
  • A ‘team player’ who is willing to help colleagues whenever necessary
  • Attention to detail and the ability to examine a problem from different perspectives
  • Be both logical and creative in your thinking
  • Strong communication skills; the ability to articulate a problem and solution, both verbally and written
  • High level of organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and respond to requests
  • The ability to work effectively with a variety of internal and external clients
  • 2 to 4 years of market research experience
  • Well versed in social media, both personally and professionally
  • Excellent knowledge of the MS office suite – Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • International research experience is a distinct advantage
  • Knowledge of SPSS or other statistical analysis tools is an advantage
  • Fluency in other languages is an advantage
  • Clear and professional communication and writing skills
  • Strong numeracy skills
  • Well versed in social media, both personally and professionally
  • Good knowledge of the MS Office suite- Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Previous experience in a market research is an advantage, but interest is a must have
  • Fluency in other languages is an advantage
