Description

Guidepoint is seeking qualified candidates for a junior research position. Research Analysts work to complete high-level research and recruit experts for our broad spectrum of clients. This is an exciting opportunity for a self-starter with 1-2 years of relevant work experience, who wants to learn about the financial services industry and make a significant contribution to our business.

Qualifications

 

  • Research, identify, and recruit appropriate industry experts for customized client requests
  • Qualify by screening and creating the biographies/profiles of prospective industry experts for client review
  • Build and maintain relationships with these industry experts in our network of advisors
  • Bachelor’s Degree from accredited institution is required
  • Outgoing personality with the ability and willingness to make cold calls, speak with people at all professional levels, including senior management
  • Proficient in the use of the internet for research and alternative forms of sourcing.

  • Ability to identify market trends
  • Ability to work within tight deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team atmosphere but also independently
  • Desire to learn about the business and to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • BILINGUAL APPLICANTS ARE PREFERRED (current focus is on German, French, Spanish and Nordic Languages).
