Job Summary 

Westat has an immediate opening for a researcher to work on both large- and small-scale evaluation studies involving a range of program and policy contexts.

Qualifications

 

  • A master's degree in the social sciences
  • At least 5 years of postdegree research experience is required.
  • A Ph.D. degree is preferred.
  •  

    Preferred Skills
    • Working with study collaborators and clients on the design, implementation, and analysis of a wide spectrum of studies.
    • Work activities also include proposal and report writing.
    • A strong background in research methods and evaluation design, excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills, both quantitative and qualitative analytic skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks are essential.
    • The successful candidate will be proficient in designing evaluation studies, have experience with mixed method approaches,
    • and have participated in the development of published manuscripts.
