Description

 

Job Purpose:             To lead the successful delivery of market research projects (quality delivery, meeting client expectations, on-time and on-budget)

Job Context:              Ashfield Insight & Performance

Direct reports:           None

Reports to:                 Associate Research Director

 

 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

 

  • Full project management (project lead with support from RM/AD, including being the key contact for clients)
  • Project design, content development and delivery
    (e.g. develop discussion guide / web questionnaire / screening questionnaire, analysis of data, quality checking, development of the presentation and other deliverables, delivery of the results)
  • Managing fieldwork / recruiters / suppliers
  • Client / account management
  • Financial management of the project
  • Resource management for the project
  •  

    Business development support:

     

    • Assist in responding to an RFP

Qualifications

 

    Education

     

    • Essential: Life Science, social science (eg psychology), mathematics, statistics, business analytics and / or business degree
    • Desirable: Higher life science degree, Masters, MBA or similar

 

    Experience

     

    • Minimum 2-3 years international pharmaceutical market research experience

 

Preferred Skills

    Core Market Research skills  

             

    • In-depth knowledge of qualitative and quantitative methodologies
    • Strong expertise in questionnaire design
    • Good interviewing and group moderation knowledge
    • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
    • Thoroughness, accuracy and integrity
    • Excellent presentation skills

 

    Other knowledge / skills required

     

    • Knowledge of various codes of practice
    • Market Research codes of practice
      (EphMRA, ESOMAR, MRS, BHBIA, PBIRG)
    • ABPI code of practice
    • Data protection legislation
    • Adverse event reporting
    • Compliance processes
