We currently have an opening for a SENIOR MARKETING RESEARCH ANALYST – GLOBAL MARKETS .

This role will be responsible for leading a full range of global research projects; collecting and analyzing data for existing and potential markets and products; identifying and collecting data on competitors; and monitoring and researching market conditions and changes in industries that affect overall product sales. Position responsibilities include the following.

 

  • Oversees primary research, sources secondary research and analyzes results. Sources and negotiates pricing for list rentals as it relates to direct mail efforts and external research needs.
  • Leads efforts to gather, analyze and report information on new and existing products. Oversees the compilation, evaluation and reporting of information and conditions for existing and potential markets.
  • Proposes and determines methodology for obtaining required data and designs effective telephone, mail or internet surveys. Conducts quantitative research using techniques such as questionnaires and/or electronic data collection and analyzes results. Manages the qualitative research process through the utilization of focus groups and in-depth interviews.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or related field and 2+ years job related experience required.

Preferred Skills

 

  • Strong business analysis skills and knowledge of marketing research procedures required.
  • Must be a highly motivated team player able to perform assigned tasks with minimal supervision and within time frames specified by the Director of Public & Media Relations.
  • Must be detail-oriented with excellent customer service, organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Must have excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and oral.
  • Must demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Must have proven ability to transform key data into clear business commentary and action points.
  • Expertise in managing relationships with colleagues and vendors required.
